Financial and Investment planning is a daunting task for many beginners. Not knowing what to look for and how to start can delay the journey. JarInv have helped to educate novice investors informally for many years on programs and portfolios designed to meet long-term financial goals. This Beginner's Guide to Investing is the first step.
We hope visitors will find information contained in this site educational, informative, interesting and useful.
We will even try making investing for beginners fun and easy!
JarInv want to encourage a risk adjusted approach. It is fairly easy to increase returns by increasing risk - but this is not what we advocate.
We start by clarifying our investing principles and explaining a simple way to start investing for beginners. We do not profit from any decisions you make. We are a non-profit organisation with an aim to educate everyone on basic, safe investment principles.
We provide lower risk options and alternatives to starting portfolios. As we are not funded by advertising, we can offer opinions that are fair and unbiased. We will share different types of investing, like Index investing, Fibonacci investing so that informed choices may be made.
Our team is comprised of people with different levels of financial experience, but we all have this in common --
a commitment to ethics and integrity.
We will never recommend a path that we would not walk ourselves.
Our style is informal, recommendations are unbiased and opinions are impartial. We encourage visitors to contact us with views and comments on how to improve this site.
JarInv is a non-profit website that is free to use.
We will never charge any fees for you to learn about investing.
JarInv will always remain impartial while providing narratives.
As we are not funded by advertising we can be fair and impartial.
JarInv is not a site where we will explain how to get rich quick.

Financial plans prepare individuals to fund large expenses like a child's education, retirement or any significant/unexpected life changes.
A financial plan should start with goals and objectives and should contain a simple investment portfolio, plans for retirement and tax planning, as well as any insurance needs.
Financial plans should be reviewed every three to five years, or before any major life transition. It is however strongly recommended that large scale changes are not made regularly as these are often to the detriment of the individual.
JarInv Financials was born out of the concept that most successful investments start small-scale from humble beginnings - like from coins collected in a jar - so a JAR INVESTMENT. JarInv is a non-profit organisation, keen to introduce the simpler concepts of stock market investing to novices who are venturing out in this domain.
